Advisory BoardAn advisory board has been established to expedite the activities of BIJEM and transform it into a modern, top ranking institute. This 11-member board comprises country’s prominent media educationalist, editors of national dailies, journalists, diplomats, industrialists, businessmen and social activists. Former eminent ambassador and diplomat Mr. Akramul Qader is the Chief Advisor of this board.
The other members are: Professor Dr. Sakhawat Ali Khan (former chair of the Mass Communication and Journalism department of Dhaka University), Mr. Reazuddin Ahmed (Editor of the The News Today’ and former President of the National Press Club), Mr. Saiful Bari (Chief Advisor of ATN-Bangla and former chairman of National Broadcasting Authority), Mr. Shawkat Mahmud (President of the National Press Club and prominent Journalist), Dr. Khandaker Kamal Uddin (a UK expatriate), Dr. Sharif As Saber (an Australia expatriate), Dr. Md. Munirul Qader Mirza (a Canada expatriate), Mr. Mohammad Shahjahan (a USA expatriate) and some other media personalities. |
